01WHEN DOES SNOWRESCUE START CLEARING?
SnowRescue monitors winter weather and typically activates routes once qualifying snowfall reaches 5 cm. Final trigger details and service terms are confirmed in your seasonal agreement.
02WILL MY PROPERTY BE CLEARED BY A SPECIFIC TIME?
Under ordinary conditions, our service targets are approximately 6 hours for Signature, 8–10 hours for Premium, and 10–12 hours for Essential after snowfall ends. These are operational targets, not guarantees. Major or prolonged winter events, road and safety conditions, continuing snowfall, and municipal operations can extend timing.
03WHY DO YOU USE SNOWBLOWERS INSTEAD OF PLOWS?
We use professional snowblowers and hand clearing instead of pushing a truck-mounted plow across residential driveways. That gives crews greater control around interlock, curbs, garage entrances, walkways, steps, landscaping, and other finished residential surfaces, helping reduce the risk of unnecessary property damage.
04WHAT IS A POST-PLOW DRIVEWAY RETURN?
A post-plow return reopens the contracted driveway entrance after a new municipal road-plow deposit following our main clearing; it is not a full-property reclear. Premium includes up to 4 standard returns per season and Signature includes up to 12. Unlimited standard post-plow driveway-entrance coverage is available only as an optional Signature upgrade, subject to route eligibility and the seasonal agreement.
05WHAT AREAS OF MY PROPERTY ARE INCLUDED?
Coverage depends on the selected plan and the property-specific scope confirmed during quoting. Essential focuses on the driveway, with front entrance + stairs available as a $200 + HST seasonal add-on. Premium adds the primary pedestrian route to the home, and Signature adds expanded coverage areas such as selected side entrances or additional walkways confirmed in your property scope.
06DO YOU SERVICE EVERY HOME IN MILTON, OAKVILLE, BURLINGTON, AND MISSISSAUGA?
Not automatically. SnowRescue serves Milton, Oakville, Burlington, and West Mississauga through concentrated neighbourhood routes, so availability is property-specific and can close as local route capacity fills.
07WHAT HAPPENS DURING A MAJOR OR LONG-DURATION STORM?
Major or long-duration storms can require multiple passes, interim access clearing, and adjusted route sequencing. Significant accumulation, heavy or wet snow, drifting, freezing rain or ice, hazardous roads, continuing snowfall, and municipal operations can extend normal plan timing. During these events, SnowRescue may use interim passes and communicate an updated recovery schedule as conditions evolve.
08DO YOU OFFER ONE-TIME OR EMERGENCY CLEARING?
SnowRescue is being built primarily around recurring seasonal residential routes. One-time or emergency clearing may be offered when route capacity allows, but seasonal clients remain the core service priority.
09DO I NEED TO MOVE MY VEHICLES BEFORE YOU ARRIVE?
Not always. A parked vehicle does not automatically mean your property is skipped. Our snowblowers can often work around vehicles and through tighter residential access points when approximately 42 inches of clear equipment access remains. Moving vehicles when practical allows the most complete clearing, and final access depends on the property, vehicle placement, snow accumulation, and safe operating conditions.
10WHAT DO I GET WITH MY SNOWRESCUE CLIENT PORTAL?
Every seasonal SnowRescue client receives access to a private Client Portal where they can review their service information, selected plan, seasonal agreement and payment information, with convenient access to SnowRescue Storm Desk during winter events.
11WHAT IS THE SNOWRESCUE STORM DESK?
Storm Desk is SnowRescue's live winter operating-status page. During active weather events it shows the current storm stage, route activity and service updates so clients do not have to wonder whether SnowRescue has activated service.
